Using the XLong Cold Therapy Wrap has benefited me; my back and leg pain have been reduced by 20-25% if I use it to the max you prescribed. That much relief is appreciated. There are some nuisance issues in this back wrap--one due to poor design & another due to (I think) incomplete construction. There is a patch of "hook" material sewed to the inside of the main belt which is found about 3/4" away from the opening of the ice pouch. On other brands of ice packs there is also a hook patch on the belt (as in your model) but also a loop patch sewed to a flap on the outside of the ice pouch. Its purpose is to close the mouth of the ice pouch to prevent the blue ice packs from falling out during application & use. On the model you sent me THERE IS NO CLOSURE FLAP; so the hook patch sewed to the belt is fully exposed and causes an annoying problem when I put the belt on and try to adjust the location of the cold pack over the injured are of my back. Since I can't fasten the belt in the final correct position, I need to be able to rotate the belt from the hooking position to the functioning position by sliding the belt circumferentially arourd my body until the ice pack is right over the injured area. (Exactly analagous to my wife's hooking bra straps from the front and the sliding the bra around her body til the hooks are in back.) With the BARE HOOK patch EXPOSED on the ICE Down belt, they hook on the sport sweater I use between the ICE pack and my body. This makes it difficult to adjust the location of the back belt because it snags the sweater and pulls it around my body when I work to correctly position the belt. ///Another nuisance thing in the design is that there is about an inch of free material that extends beyond main hook patch. That free length of belt tends to turn in on itself nearly every I put the belt on. After I make the main connection, I have to slip my fingers under the excess material which lies beyond the front hook patch, and then partially undo the main hook-loop attachment, so that I can pull out and straighten that excess of fabric which otherwise prevents that fraction of front hooks from properly attaching because they are covered up by excess material which lies beyond the hook patch.
